Dear PAO,

My brother, a widower, recently died due to poisoning. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the culprit was his adopted son. His adopted son will now be prosecuted for the murder of my brother. It turned out though that his adopted son was made as the sole beneficiary of my brother's life insurance policy amounting to P50 million. Will my brother's adopted son be still entitled to such proceeds despite his despicable act against my brother?
