THROUGH the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd), the British Council in the Philippines (BC) granted funds to five higher education institutions for their transnational education program's (TNE) development and implementation.
Pierre Pecson, BC education manager, noted that in addition to Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) of Batac, Ilocos Norte receiving P3 million for the TNE program, other institutions to get funds are the University of the Philippines Manila, Batangas State University, Philippine Normal University and Central Mindanao University.
