African Swine Flu outbreak in Cebu

THE Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) on Wednesday confirmed an outbreak of African Swine Fever (ASF) in Cebu after 58 out of 149 blood samples tested from Carcar, Cebu resulted positive for ASF.

According to BAI, the samples were tested using Real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (rtPCR).
