I took it at face value, which meant I was expecting to read about a woman who was privileged enough not to need to work or probably ran her own business. To my surprise, the woman who had 'never worked in her life' had to stay home to raise her children and manage the household. This begs the question of what do we envision when we think of a 'working woman'?
