AFTER reeling from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic during its peak a few years back, the island of Mindanao has been battered heavily by floods and typhoons in the past few months.

Amid all these adversities, Mindanaoans are endowed with the ability to adapt and adjust to unexpected events and changes in their environment. But despite having this strong trait, for most people in Mindanao, the future remains unclear.
