Mindoro town to sue operator over oil spill

CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro: Mayor Jennifer 'Ina Alegre' Cruz of Pola, Oriental Mindoro, on Saturday said they will sue the operator of an oil tanker over the sinking of the vessel, causing an oil spill off the town.

The incident happened at the height of the northeast monsoon or 'amihan' last week.
