Modify order on reduced tariff for e-vehicles, Palace urged

INTERNATIONAL think-tank and research organization Stratbase ADR Institute on Monday called on Malacañang to modify an order it issued imposing reduced tariff for electric vehicles to include e-motorcycles in the list.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. last January approved Executive Order No. 12 which slashes tariff rates of certain EVs such as passenger cars, buses, minibuses, vans, trucks, motorcycles, tricycles, scooters and bicycles for a five-year period.
