A RANKING official of the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources (DENR) on Friday said that the oil slick from the sunken oil tanker off the coast of Naujan, Oriental Mindoro reached 25 kilometers long.

In a press conference, Environment Undersecretary for Integrated Environmental Science Carlos David said that based on the aerial inspection conducted Friday morning, March 3, it is important to determine the exact location of the M/T Princess Empress to stop the oil spill.
