Debris possibly from missing chopper sighted in Palawan

FLOATING debris that could be from the missing medical evacuation helicopter has been sighted off Balabac in Palawan on Thursday.

According to the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), BRP Malabrigo spotted the debris with 'R404A' and 'pentafluoroethane' markings off Lumbucan Island in Barangay Mangsee.

The Philippine Air Force's Sokol Helicopter operated by the 505th Search and Rescue Group conducts aerial search and rescue operations over Balabac and Mangsee for the missing medevac chopper of the Philippine Adventist Missionary Aviation Services (PAMAS)
