Mega Prime Foods Inc. (MPFI) on Wednesday opened a manufacturing facility in Santo Tomas, Batangas, adding to two other plants located in Zamboanga.
The facility is expected to create over 1,000 jobs and livelihood opportunities, which officials said would reinvigorate the local economy while also ensuring the country's food security.MPFI invested P1 billion for the construction and development of the Mega Manufacturing Batangas Plant, which will have the capacity to produce 300,000 cans of sardines per day.
