February PMI eases from 7-mo high

Manufacturing sector growth stayed solid in February but the latest purchasing managers' index (PMI) for the country eased to 52.7 percent from January's seven-month high of 53.5 percent, S&P Global reported on Wednesday.

'Growth remained solid as output and new orders, the two largest contributors to the headline index, expanded further,' it said in a statement.
