Host Utsonomiya Brex gave a rude welcome to TNT Tropang Giga after giving a neat 99-66 spanking of the PBA Philippine Cup runner-up in the opening day of the East Asia Super League (EASL) Champions Week on Wednesday night, March 1 at the Nikkan Arena in Utsonomiya, Japan.
With their pair of 6-10 imports Grant Jerrett and Josh Scott providing the ceiling and strong inside presence, the Brex needed just one strong offensive in the second period to turn the tables against the Tropang Giga.
