La Salle sweeps UP, shares early lead with NU

De La Salle University (DLSU) rose to 2-0 after sweeping University of the Philippines (UP), 25-14, 25-20, 25-14, on Wednesday, March 1 in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 85 women's volleyball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Super rookie Angel Canino followed up her rousing debut with another solid outing of 13 points on 11 attacks and two service aces for the Lady Spikers, whoo joined defending champ NU atop the team standings.
