Deadline for jeepney phaseout extended

THE Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) extended the deadline for traditional jeepneys to consolidate their franchises under a cooperative until the end of 2023.

LTFRB chairman Teofilo Guadiz 3rd announced the extension from June 30 to December 31 during a briefing on Wednesday.
