2 hazing rites were performed on slain Adamson student -- investigator

POLICE investigators on Wednesday confirmed that Adamson University (Adu) student, John Matthew Salilig, died from 'physical trauma' from two hazing rites.

PSSg. Jessie Villanueva, investigator at the Imus City Police Station told The Manila Times that neophyte Salilig had undergone initiation rites from the Tau Gamma Phi Grand Fraternity twice -- its chapter in Zamboanga City and then in Binan, Laguna where at least 15 suspects from the university chapter were allegedly responsible for paddling the victim.
