THE Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) generated P20.4 billion in revenues in 2022, the highest since 1974 and 16 percent higher than the P17.5 in 2021, driven by increased container volume.

PPA General Manager Jay Daniel Santiago attributed the increase in revenues to the improving economic condition and PPA's sound fiscal management.
