1Pacman party-list Rep. Michael Romero recently filed a bill that seeks to create the National Cancer Center of the Philippines, which will focus on the needs of Filipinos from low-income and marginalized groups who are cancer patients.
"Cancer is recognized as one of the leading causes of death in the country, and it's the government's mandate to make cancer treatment and care more equitable and affordable for all," Romero said.
