SNAP-Magat supports Isabela province's fight vs malnutrition

SN Aboitiz Power Magat (SNAP-Magat), a renewable energy solutions provider, aligns its operations and sustainability commitments to help sustain its host communities.

SNAP's sustainable journey supports Isabela's fight against malnutrition.

SNAP-Magat handed over 9,158 powdered milk packs to the Office of Provincial Social Welfare and Development (PSWD) in Ilagan, Isabela on Jan. 31, 2023 to support its Busog-Lusog Milk Feeding Program. Lucila Ambatali, PSWD officer, received the donation.

SNAP-Magat has supported the program since it signed a memorandum ofagreement (MoA) with the province in 2021.

In addition to this donation, 3,240 cans of premium-brand milk were previously given to the province.

These milk cans were combined with locally produced milk to supplement and provide adequate nutrition to meet the nutritional needs of malnourished children, senior citizens, and pregnant and lactating mothers in the province.

SNAP's sustainability journey aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. Collaborative efforts like these lead to achieving Good Health and Well Being (SDG 3).
