Dream realized: Canino savors UAAP women's volleyball debut

La Salle super rookie Angel Canino has long dreamt of playing in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) women's volleyball tournament, showcasing her talent before a boisterous crowd in the major arenas in the country.

Canino finally realized her dream on Sunday, February 26 at the Mall of Asia Arena, where she helped lead the Lady Spikers past the UST Golden Tigresses, 25-20, 16-25, 25-8, 15-25, 16-14, for a Season 85 opening win.
