UAAP fencing: Richard Gomez's daughter Juliana gives UP first gold; Dalmacio, Felipe provide golds for UE

University of the East mainstays and national team members Queen Dalmacio and Shawn Nicollei Felipe won gold medals in their respective categories while Juliana Gomez grabbed her first gold medal for University of the Philippines in Day 2

of action in the UAAP Season 85 Fencing Championships on Friday at the UST Gym in Manila.

Felipe, an 18-year-old first year B.S. Psychology student of UE, ruled the men's individual foil category as he edged teammate Ygnatius Robert Cabaero 15-7 in the finals.
