Adamson University (AdU) dominated University of the East (UE), 25-19, 25-9, 25-5, on Saturday, February 25 for a winning start in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 85 women's volleyball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Lucille Almonte pumped in 12 points and eight excellent digs to lead the Lady Falcons past the Lady Red Warriors in the match that lasted for just one hour and three minutes, including a blitz that was the 17-minute third set.
