Isuzu Philippines' dealer group, Inteco, donates Isuzu ambulance

ONE of the pioneer dealer partners of Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC), Inteco Isuzu Group of Dealership, in partnership with Women's Business Council Philippines Inc. (WomenBizPH), officially handed over one unit of Isuzu ambulance as donation to Likhaan Center for Women's Health (Likhaan) last February 16 at Isuzu Quezon Avenue dealer showroom.

The turnover ceremony was headed by Women's Right advocate Sen. Risa Hontiveros, Likhaan Center for Women's Health Chairman of the Board Dr. Guy Claudio, WomenBizPH Chairman Mylene Abiva, IPC Vice President for Sales Division Yasuhiko Oyama, Inteco President and CEO Raymond Jarina, and Isuzu Quezon Avenue Branch Manager Ranvin Jarina. The guests also included several dignitaries and people directly involved with the project.

Likhaan Center for Women's Health is a nongovernment organization which advocates for health and equality, particularly of women and poor and disadvantaged people. Some of their programs include running community-based health clinics and providing community education, organization and mobilization in poverty-stricken communities.

On the other hand, Inteco's partner on the donation project, WomenBizPH is an advocacy group and the lead private sector partner of the government composed of the country's top women business leaders and entrepreneurs which promotes and empowers women in the Philippines. Together with WomenBizPH, Inteco provided assistance to Likhaan by donating an Isuzu Ambulance.

Jarina said in his speech that this donation is a tribute to empowered and respected women, Maria Anos (Anos Research Manufacturing) and Amada Ganzon Jarina (Raymond Jarina's mother). He also commended the hard work of Likhaan to support women empowerment.

The brand-new Isuzu ambulance donated to Likhaan is designed by Anos Research Manufacturing to comply with Department of Health standards.
