THE leader of one of the biggest transport groups expressed his opposition to the so-called last trip deadline for operators of traditional passenger jeeps to comply with the requirements of the government's PUV Modernization Program (PUVMP).
Mody Floranda, president of the Pinagkaisang Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Operator Nationwide (Piston), in an interview with The Manila Times, said only a few number of passenger jeep operators are complying with the PUV Modernization Program.
