SAMAHANG Industriya ng Agrikultura President Rosendo So on Thursday maintained that the entry of 260 containers of sugar was illegal after Agriculture Senior Undersecretary Domingo Panganiban defended its arrival ahead of the release of Sugar Order (SO) 6.

The Sugar Order authorizes the importation of 440,000 metric tons (MT) of sweeteners.
