Veteran guard Maverick Ahanmisi scattered 22 of his career-high 31 points in the third quarter as he led Converge to a 98-90 triumph over skidding Blackwater in the 2022-23 PBA Governors' Cup on Thursday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.
Ahanmisi, the third overall pick in the 2015 PBA Rookie Draft, provided the spark for the FiberXers by nailing six triples in the third canto to help his team gain control of the game and chalk up its sixth win in eight starts.
