The need for PH to attain food security

THERE is a need to be very frank and honest whenever food security is discussed, as that is a very sensitive socioeconomic issue. For sure, no government wants to be told that the majority of its citizens are suffering from involuntary hunger.

So, the Philippine Development Plan (PDP) covering 2023-2028 was not short on being very honest on the assessment of the country's food security situation, even sounding like pushing the panic button.
