Mason Amos gears up for possible Gilas stint

AS far as Filipino Australian Mason Amos is concerned, just being part of the Gilas Pilipinas pool is already a huge confidence-booster, knowing that he gets to learn from the best players and coaches in the country during training and scrimmages.

But the 6-foot-7 Amos is also well aware that the absence of fellow slotmen Kai Sotto, Japeth Aguilar and Carl Tamayo puts him — and La Salle's Kevin Quiambao — in the equation for the final 12-man lineup.
