Cavite police get 25 mobile patrol cars

IMUS CITY, Cavite: The Cavite Police Provincial Office (CPPO) received 25 units of brand new Toyota Wigo from the provincial government during a simple ceremony at Camp General Pantaleon Garcia here on Tuesday, February 21.Cavite Gov. Juanito Victor 'Jonvic' Remulla Jr. led the turnover of the new patrol cars to Police Provincial Director Col. Christopher Olazo and witnessed by Calabarzon Regional Director BGen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.Calabarzon comprises the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon.Aside from the 25 new mobile cars worth P14,035,000, Remulla also turned over a UHF/FM digital repeater with GPS; 50 units of UHF/FM digital base radio worth P2,800,850; 120 units of UHF/FM mobile radio worth P4,922,040; and 500 units of UHF/FM digital portable radios worth P18,888,500.According to Olazo, the mobile cars will be distributed as follows: three units to Bacoor, Imus (three units), Dasmariñas (three units), Noveleta (three units), Amadeo (two units) and one to Indang. One unit each will also be given to the CPPO departments of S1, S3, S4, Tourist Police Unit, Institute for Traffic Management, General Services Office and Public Information Office.'For now we have already has 533 patrol vehicles in the province. This will be a huge impact for the Cavite police,' said Olazo.'We will have six duty police officers, three in the morning and three in the evening with 12 hours of duty.'
