(UPDATE) SAMAHANG Industriya ng Agrikultura (Sinag) Executive Director Jayson Cainglet on Wednesday said that no amount of sugar coating can hide the disastrous impact of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnerships (RCEP) on the country, especially on the agriculture sector, following the ratification by the Senate of the free trade agreement.
At the same time, Cainglet praised Senators Ana Theresia "Risa" Hontiveros and Imelda Josefa "Imee" Marcos for being the new champions of the agriculture sector.
