MBC urges creation of Water department

THE Makati Business Club (MBC) on Tuesday expressed support for the creation of Water Resources Management Office (WRMO) but said the country's water woes would be better addressed by a department-level entity.

'We believe the WRMO will help address urgent issues even as we encourage Congress to pass a law creating an even more effective Department of Water,' the MBC said in a statement.
