Senate to ratify RCEP

THE Senate is expected to ratify today, Tuesday, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) amid the opposition senators' objection for being detrimental to farmers.

The possibility of having RCEP ratified grew stronger after Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin and Special Assistant to the President Anton Lagdameo Jr. sat at the gallery of the Senate session hall.
