THE sport of bowling has served as a venue for developing camaraderie and closer-friendly relations among design professionals, project managers, suppliers and related practitioners in the design and construction industry. Through these sports, a healthy exchange of communication and information happens for the promotion of services, products and technologies among architects, and those in the construction industry.
It is in this vein that the Architects Bowling Club (ABC) came into existence. The go-signal for the formation of ABC started when Arch. Ric Poblete got the personal assurance and support of the three named architect-bowlers, Architects Ega Reformado, Condrad Cunanan and Alo Dee who, besides being known leaders of different bowling associations, were outstanding keglers in their own rights. Yours truly had anticipated that their mere presence in the ABC picture would be enough to move architect-bowlers to join the ABC bandwagon.
