SC warns retired judiciary members vs corruption

THE Supreme Court has warned retired members of the judiciary who may be involved in corruption against dragging the name of the court into their wrongful activity.

In a speech before 3,200 lawyers during the recent 19th National Convention of the of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), Senior Associate Justice Marvic M.V.F. Leonen urged citizens to report to the Office of Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo any retired member of the judiciary, including retired justices of the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals, who are involved in corrupt activities.
