THE Filipina and her three children who were reported missing following the devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Turkey were found dead and have been laid to rest, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said.

"It is with deepest regret that the Embassy [in Ankara] must confirm the passing of a Filipina and her three children previously reported to be missing under the rubble in Antakya. She and her children have been laid to rest by her Turkish husband in accordance with Turkish tradition," DFA Spokesperson Ma. Teresita Daza said.
