JOHANNESBURG, South Africa: South Africa embarked on a 10-day joint military exercises with Russia and China along its eastern coast on Friday, days before Moscow's invasion of Ukraine marks its first full year.
The controversial drills, dubbed "Mosi" — "smoke" in the local Tswana language — began off the port cities of Durban and Richards Bay. They will end on February 27.
