Pascual powers Benilde past San Sebastin in NCAA volleyball opener

COLLEGE of Saint Benilde brushed off a first set loss to beat San Sebastian, 20-25, 25-22, 25-13, 25-11, and open its title-retention campaign on a high note in the NCAA women's volleyball tournament Saturday at the San Andres Sports Complex.

The Lady Stags surprisingly won the opening set behind last season's top rookie Kat Santos and were very much in the game in the second before losing, and the Lady Blazers imposed its championship form in the next two sets to prevail.
