BRP Teresa Magbanua, one of the largest maritime assets of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), directs a Vietnamese-flagged fishing boat off Recto Bank (Reed Bank) on Feb. 10, 2023 to leave the Philippines' Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). The incident happened more than a week after the BRP Teresa Magbanua was deployed to strengthen and increase the PCG's presence and operations in the West Philippine Sea upon the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
