PCG to China: 'It's never been our job to make up stories'

'[CHINA] is saying that we are lying. It's never been our job to make up stories.'

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said this on Thursday in reaction to the statement issued by the Chinese Foreign Ministry that its coast guard vessel only used a 'hand-held laser speed detector and hand-held greenlight pointer to measure the distance and speed of the Philippine ship and signal directions for navigation safety.'
