House to probe PH readiness for big quake

HOUSE Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez wants to guarantee that the government is ready, particularly the first responders, in the event that a major earthquake strikes, particularly in Metro Manila.

Experts claim that without preparation, thousands will perish in a big temblor similar to what happened in Turkey and Syria.
