SEN. Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go on Tuesday pushed for the early passage of Senate Bill (SB) 1181 which seeks to amend the National Building Code to ensure that all buildings and structures are built according to the principle of "building back better."
In filing SB 1181, an Act regulating the planning, design, construction, occupancy, and maintenance of buildings, Go explained that weak infrastructure has been a major obstacle to the creation of safe and resilient communities in the Philippines.
