Smart partners with fintech startup

Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has partnered with Plentina, a Silicon Valley-based fintech startup, to enable subscribers to purchase prepaid loads on credit through a mobile application.

Under the partnership, Smart subscribers will be able to access a buy now, pay later service that enables them to take out a micro consumer loan to pay for loads via Plentina.
