TABUK CITY, Kalinga: Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte was formally adopted as a daughter of Kalinga during formal adoption rites held during her visit to the province in time for the celebration of Kalinga's 28th founding anniversary and the conduct of the 4th Bodong Festival.
Duterte was given the local name "Lumingay," which means lovable, strong and supportive wife of a tribal leader.
