(UPDATE) PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday confirmed he talked with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and assured him that the Philippines is one with them in the effort to end the war with Russia.
In a statement, Marcos expressed admiration for Ukrainians' "bravery and nationalism" during the crisis, promising that the Philippines will support them in their "search for peace."
