A 4.5 magnitude earthquake occurred in Masbate late Wednesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Although aftershocks are not expected, damage to infrastructure is possible in the latest tremor that took place around 5:15 p.m., according to Phivolcs chief Teresito "Toto" Bacolcol.
