THE state-run weather agency said on Wednesday that a low pressure area (LPA) has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) but is less likely to intensify into a tropical depression in the coming days.
In its 4 p.m. advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the weather disturbance was last spotted around 3 p.m. some 925 kilometers east of southeastern Mindanao.
