More mobile phone users shifting providers; SIM registrations hit 32M

Ongoing subscriber identification module (SIM) registrations have resulted in more people taking the opportunity to move to a different network, a study by Telecommunications Connectivity Inc. (TCI) found.

In a statement, TCI said that SIM registrations was helping drive mobile number portability (MNP) as more people were taking the opportunity to move to a new service provider.
