WATCH: Flight school rewarding but costly
The road to becoming a commercial pilot is long and difficult. A pilot cadet must secure a Private Pilot License (PPL) from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) before he or she can enter flight school.
One such school is the Leading Edge International Aviation Academy Inc. (LEIAAI) in Manila. It accepts students who want to be professional pilots or who are into flying as a hobby.
The training course lasts three months.
