Ubas seizes bronze in Asian Indoor

(UPDATED) JANRY Ubas set a new Philippine record in men's heptathlon in a bronze medal performance in the Asian Indoor Athletics Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan on Sunday evening (Manila time).

Ubas tallied 5,246 points in the seven-event athletic contest, eclipsing fellow Filipino heptathlete Jesson Ramil Cid's 4,565 points in the 2014 edition of the tournament in Hangzhou, China.
