PSA: More institutions seen accepting ePhilIDs

'May this significant step from DSWD, DFA and BSP be followed by more institutions delivering services to all Filipinos through the ePhilID,' National Statistician Dennis Mapa said.

The PSA began issuing printed versions of the ePhilID last October following backlogs in the distribution of physical ID cards. It said that everyone who is registered in the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) would still get a physical PhilID card.
