CSU is best performing school in RTL exams

TUGUEGARAO CITY: Cagayan State University (CSU) was hailed as the best performing school in the Respiratory Therapists Licensure Examinations (RTLE) held last week in Baguio, Davao, Cebu, Zamboanga and Metro Manila.

The results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) show the CSU Andrews campus with a passing rate of 100 percent after all 133 CSU graduates who took the licensure exam passed, including Prince Joshua Carag and Hiyasmin Ramos who topped the RTLE with identical ratings of 90.7.

CSU Caritan campus also has a perfect passing rate as all three of its students who took the exam passed.

The national passing rate is 71 percent.

The results were released in two working days after the last day of the examination.

CSU President Urdujah Gaerlan Alvarado was elated by the performance of the school and for producing topnotchers once again.

'My heart is screaming in joy. Congratulations to the topnotchers and passers,' she said.

CSU's Ralph Kenneth Ramos placed second with a rating of 90.50, followed by third placer Rona Beatrice Quitalib with a rating of 90.25.

Other CSU students in the Top 10 are Jonathan Adviento and Lycha Zingabo at 7th place with identical ratings of 89.25, and Jan Ceasar Abaya, Mary Jane Lappay, Ramel Mordido, Dean Carlo Revita and Emer Joseph Turo, who are all tied for 10th place with ratings of 88.5.

The only other school that has a 100 percent passing rate is Cebu Doctors University with 15 board passers.
